Only Registered Sailboats, Watercraft and Dollies can be placed on Yacht Club property starting on April 28th, 2024.

*No Sailboats, Watercraft or dollies are allowed before that date.

The WYS Vessel Registration process is now online and can be completed using link below.

Please review the Individual Watercraft and Trailer Storage rules below before registering your watercraft.

All members are subject to the Watercraft and Trailer Policy Rules.

  • Registration stickers are required to be on all watercraft and dollies before they are left on WYS property.
  • In the event of severe weather or unusually high tides, vessel owners upon notice from WYS will be responsible for removing their vessel(s) off the property before the storm's onset.
  • Kayaks/Canoes/Paddle Boards - Any of these watercraft that are left on the storage racks must be tied down.
  • Sunfish, Opti's, 420’s and other types of monohulls - These types of watercraft must be left on the beach and must be on an operable dolly. *Every dolly must be registered separately from the watercraft and have its own registration sticker attached to it.
  • Flying Scots - Flying Scots may be left in the Flying Scot corral section of the parking lot if the boat is intended to be raced this season in WYS Sailing Events and/or with permission from the WYS Sailing Director. Flying Scots must always be stored on an operable trailer.
  • Boat Trailers – Trailers are not allowed on club property with exception of club owned trailers or Flying Scot trailers that are being used to hold Flying Scot racing boats in the Flying Scot corral.
  • Catamarans - (Hobie Cats and similar type sailboats) Spaces for catamarans are limited. These numbered spaces will be assigned annually by the club manager on a first come, first serve basis. Any catamaran left on club property must have its rear crossbar attached to one of the tie-down ropes provided by WYS.
